A quick and tasty chicken dish in a homemade teriyaki sauce with vegetables.– Terike
500 g chicken breast fillet cut into strips
2 tbs plain flour
2 tbs vegetable oil
4 tbs dry sherry
1 1/3 tbs honey
2 tbs white wine vinegar
4 tbs light soy sauce
2 tsp cornflour
1/2 red capsicum cut into strips
1 broccoli blanched
Coat chicken in flour. Cut shallots into 5cm strips.
Heat oil and fry chicken in batches, until golden.
Mix sherry, honey, vinegar, soy and cornflour in a bowl.
Heat oil and stir fry vegetables for 2 minutes.
Add sauce and chicken to pan.
Stir until sauce thickens and chicken is well coated.
